Register NOW for L.A.C.E. Leading Ladies Fashion Collison. Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 9:00am-3:00pm, L.A.C.E. Leading Ladies will host their 2nd annual Fashion Collision. The event will take place at C.S. 21 located at 180 Chauncey Street, Brooklyn, NY 11233. The L.A.C.E. Fashion Collision is an opportunity for young women all across the city who are less fortunate to collect a graduation or prom dress. Last year this event collected over 300 dresses which were then given away to students from all across the City who were unable to afford their own prom and graduation dress.
This year L.A.C.E will partner with Macy’s Herald Square Event to Collect and expects to give away over 700 dresses. Not to mention, The ladies also received a generous donation of brand new dresses from Forever Yours.
Hence, the reason L.A.C.E. Leading Ladies Event to Collect has also attracted the attention of fashion designer Gwen Beloti who will donate a custom designed prom dress to one lucky student as she did for 2011. If you would like to enter the online RAFFLE for the SIZE 10 Gwen Beloti dress please send an email to email@example.com, with your name and size. The winning ticket will be drawn at the event so make sure to bring a print out with your issued number.
This event is free for all high school and junior high young ladies (Please bring graduation proof). Students who are graduating will not only collect prom and graduation dresses for this year, but will also receive shoes, accessories, a makeup clinic (given by Mary Kay rep. Nichole Benjamin), and dresses for pre-schoolers who will be stepping up in June. This event is a proud partnership of numerous community organizations and small businesses passionate about giving back to the members of our community.
